This customer called us with a power outage in their Dash point beach house. Within a few minutes we found a serious problem in their meter base. It needed to be replaced.
Pictured above is actually a 200amp meter main (combines both a meter socket and a 200 amp main breaker) Look closely and you can see where the lug pulled free from the copper connections to the main circuit breaker. The symptoms the homeowner experience as this connection slowly deteriorated was loosing power to approx half the house and all 240v loads.
Removal of damaged meter base. Removing the damaged meter base was tricky because we had to install a new rigid mast for the overhead drop and disconnect the overhead lines.

New meter base installed. We called for inspection through the city of Tacoma and only had one minor correction to make. We took care of this without any cost to the customer.
